A Midsummer’s Night with Medaille

Here at Medaille, we’re always finding new ways to connect with a larger audience to educate people about our programs. On July 28, students living in Canada will be able to attend an informal interactive session and learn about a graduate education at Medaille.

I recruit Canadians for the Master of Science in Education Program. As a Canadian myself, and an Ontario-certified teacher, I feel that Medaille College offers an excellent pathway to becoming a teacher.

In addition to the high-quality, hands-on curriculum, Medaille also offers outstanding service and support to students. During the application process you can expect consistent feedback on your application and answers to any question you may have about attending school in the U.S. Medaille accommodates the needs of Canadian students through our 2-day a week program and the faculty and staff offer unparalleled personal attention.

I feel at home when I arrive on campus and see the Canadian flag and the Ontario license plates – approximately 700 Canadian students attend each year. I received an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Education from OISE/University of Toronto, in Secondary English and Drama.

I love to travel and spent two years teaching in London, UK, and studied abroad in Bombay, India. I have lived in Buffalo for 5 years now, and am very glad that there are so many Tim Horton’s here! I enjoy working in admissions at Medaille as it is so rewarding to help future teachers begin their journey to certification.
